3D technical Artist from Colombia. Since 2003 I have been working with 3ds max for different projects, mostly related to architectural and visualization. From 2005 to 2010, I started to work as a 3ds max trainer into a certified Autodesk training center and from 2010 to 2015 I moved to teach 3ds max into an University. From 2014 to date, I has been working as a 3d technical artist and developer for a company called 4DPipeline where I have worked in projects for recognized brands like Intel, AMD, BMW and so on.
As freelance I have worked mainly in architectural and visualization projects due to my local market, but also, I have experience working as organic and hard surface modeler. Additional to work as an artist I have coding experience, so I have developed and published basic visualization apps into Apple Store and Google play using Unity3d and C#.
As a 3d technical artist my main role is to provide all the 3d content needed for 3d visualization apps developed by the company for different platforms ( PC, Mobile and VR). This means that in some cases I have to model objects from scratch but mainly I have to optimize CAD models (Models with more than 60M polys) from the client to run on Mobile/VR limited hardware. As a Developer my main role is developing 3d visualization apps for IOS and Mixed reality devices ( Hololens) using Unity3d ( Scripting, content integration, UI design, publishing to IOS or any other platform). As storyboard artist, I have to provide storyboards for clients to explain what our apps will do and how the users will interact with them.
