Botero Bird sculpture

Often referred to as “The Bird of Peace,” this sculpture by Colombian artist Fernando Botero is a symbol of resilience and hope. Located in Medellín, Colombia, it serves as a poignant memorial to the victims of the drug war.

This sculpture is the second of two created by Botero for Medellín. It stands alongside the original piece, which was tragically destroyed in a terrorist attack.
